Sitewatch Joins National Skills Initiative ‘The 5% Club’
At Sitewatch, we know that the strength of our business lies in the people behind it. That’s why we’re proud to announce our membership in The 5% Club, a national movement committed to driving apprenticeships, graduate programmes, and early career opportunities across UK industries.
The 5% Club is an employer-led initiative that encourages businesses to dedicate at least 5% of their workforce to ‘earn and learn’ roles – including apprentices, sponsored students, and graduates on formal training schemes – within five years. With over 1,000 members spanning every sector from engineering to finance, the Club represents a powerful collective committed to developing a future-ready workforce.

Building Futures, Not Just Installing Towers
As a growing leader in temporary CCTV solutions and site security, we understand the importance of technical skill and sector expertise. That’s why we’ve already started building our talent pipeline, recruiting apprentices in engineering and administration to support the next generation of security professionals.
“Joining The 5% Club is more than a box ticked,” said Kristian Debry, CEO of Sitewatch Group. “It’s a formal recognition of the commitment we’ve already made to investing in young people. At Sitewatch, we don’t just install CCTV towers — we build futures. Supporting apprenticeships and early career development is one of the smartest and most sustainable investments we can make as a company.”
Creating Career Pathways in Security Technology
We’re currently expanding our earn-and-learn opportunities, with plans for new apprentice and graduate roles in field engineering, customer support, and digital systems integration in 2025. By partnering with local colleges and training providers, we’re making sure these roles lead to long-term careers – not short-term placements.
In addition, we’re formalising our internal mentoring programme, giving each apprentice the guidance and support they need to succeed in a dynamic, fast-moving industry.
Local Commitment, National Impact
With offices in Peterborough, Sitewatch is focused on creating local opportunities across the Midlands and beyond. Our involvement in The 5% Club is just one part of our wider strategy to attract, develop and retain top talent – particularly in areas where technology and security meet.
“We’re delighted to welcome Sitewatch Group into membership,” said Gill Cronin, Director of Operations at The 5% Club. “Our network of HR and learning professionals shares an ethos of developing meaningful career paths through hands-on experience. Sitewatch’s commitment to apprenticeships makes them a valuable addition.”
